Panzer - Jagd (German for tank hunt) is a truly remarkable graphic game for armored Warfare on the Eastern front of World War II. You begin the game in command of an assault force consisting of 25 armored and infantry units with regimental artillery support. Each represent one infantry or tank platoon. Your mission is to advance across the series of randomly-generated terrain maps literally laced with ambush points. Not only must you look out for the enemy, but you must also keep a watchful eye on each Panzer units fuel supply; running out of petrol on Russian steppe spells certain Doom. Units that survived the initial encounter are available for the next battle (a new map is created). Your goal is to go as far as possible with the allotted forces.
