Pure-Stat College Baseball is a sports simulation that allows player to replay individual games or entire baseball seasons, from the past or present, while keeping a permanent record of your team's stats using the built in Stat Compiler. In this simulation. The player can relive 8 major Major League Baseball teams from the 1927 New York Yankees to the 1976 Cincinnati Reds. Gameplay allows for player versus player, player versus computer, and computer versus computer games. Player can choose to play at Yankee, Dodger, or Sublogic Stadium. The player on defense sets the type of pitching and outfield position. Players at bat set the type of batting they wish to perform. The computer calculates the resulting play, which is displayed in animated form on the screen.
