Victor Wondermega RG-M1 The Wondermega is an all-in-one Mega Drive, Mega-CD and Mega-CD Karaoke solution developed by Victor under license from SEGA. Originally released on the 1st of April 1992, this deluxe system features a multitude of video-out options; with RF, S-Video and composite all being available as standard. The system also comes with enhanced audio capabilities with the inclusion of a digital signal processor, a MIDI output and 2 microphone inputs made for karaoke capabilities. Despite featuring a top-loading CD tray, the mechanism is still motorised and the tray as adorned with multiple LEDs which illuminate when the system is in use. The additional functionality of the digital signal processor is controlled with an extra series of buttons on the right-hand side of the unit, and a front control panel for the karaoke functionality is hidden behind a retractable door on the front of the unit. The Wondermega also runs its own proprietary v1.00 system BIOS which features Wondermega branding on the boot screen. It is based on the original 1991 Japanese Mega-CD system BIOS.
